Salary Details
- Stipend: As per prescribed rates during one-year apprenticeship training, governed by extant rules of the concerned State Governments.
Educational Qualification
- Must have passed SSC/Matriculation/10th (10+2 system) with minimum 50% aggregate from a recognized Board.
- Must have passed ITI in the relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT; ITI/National Trade Certificate in relevant trade is compulsory.
- Results awaiting candidates and failed ITI candidates are not eligible; Engineering Graduates/Diploma holders are not eligible under this notification.
Age Limit
- 15 to 24 years as on 16.09.2025.
- Relaxations: SC/ST 5 years, OBC 3 years, PwBD 10 years, Ex-servicemen additional up to 10 years to the extent of service rendered plus 3 years, subject to conditions; DOB ranges provided by category in the notification.
Selection Process
- Merit-based: Average of percentage marks in Matriculation withminimum50with minimum 50% aggregatewithminimum50 and ITI, giving equal weightage to both.
- Tie-breaking: Older age preferred; if same DOB, earlier year of passing Matriculation preferred.
- Shortlisting: Candidates called for document verification up to 1.5 times the notified vacancies.
- No written test or viva; final merit is Unit-wise, Trade-wise, Community-wise; subject to original document verification and medical fitness.

- Apply online only through the RRC/NCR portal; ensure accuracy of personal details, Aadhaar/PAN, marks/CGPA, and preferences for Division/Workshop/Trade.
- Register and complete the application; pay Rs. 100 fee online via Debit/Credit/Net Banking, if applicable; SC/ST/PwBD/Transgender/Female are fee-exempt.
- Upload required documents in specified formats and sizes; ensure clear, recent photograph and signature per guidelines.
- Submit well before the closing date; download/print the submitted application for future reference and report with originals at verification.
Instructions
- Applicants must possess Aadhaar; provide 12-digit Aadhaar or 28-digit enrolment ID; names/DOB must match Matriculation records exactly.
- One application per trade; multiple applications or mismatched details will be rejected; candidates with ITI in multiple trades can apply separately for each relevant trade.
- Reservation claims must be supported by valid Central Government format certificates: SC/ST (Annexure B), OBC-NCL with current year validity and self-declaration (Annexure C/D), EWS (Annexure G), PwBD (Annexure E/F), Ex-Servicemen/Serving certificates.
- Medical Fitness Certificate must be as per Annexure H, signed by Government authorized Doctor (Gazetted), not below Assistant Surgeon rank.
- No TA/DA for document verification; training does not confer right to employment; no hostel accommodation provided.
- Applications with missing/incorrect details, illegible documents, invalid certificates, or not meeting eligibility will be rejected.
