Educational Qualification
- Legal posts: Degree in Law; experience thresholds vary by grade; defined equivalents/qualified legal practitioner norms and computation notes apply; preference for legal advice/litigation as specified; eligibility for Supreme Court enrollment/AoR where indicated.
- Lecturer (Urdu): Post Graduation in Urdu with B.Ed.
- Medical Officer: Recognized MBBS under NMC Act 2019.
- Accounts Officer: Bachelor’s Degree.
- Assistant Director (NCSC/MoSJE): Master’s in Social Work/Sociology/Economics/Anthropology/Social or Applied Anthropology/Statistics/Psychology/Geography/Mathematics (with Statistics) + 3 years’ survey/research experience.
Age Limit
- As per post: Legal posts 40–56 by category/post; Lecturer Urdu: 40 EWS, 45 ST, 50 PwBD; Medical Officer: 40 UR/EWS, 45 SC/ST/ALC, 50 PwBD; Accounts Officer: 35 UR/EWS, 40 ST/ALC, 45 PwBD; Assistant Director: 35 UR, 38 OBC, 45 PwBD. Category relaxations per rules; PwBD max age not to exceed 56.
Selection Process
- UPSC may shortlist by DQ/higher EQ/experience or Recruitment Test; interviews carry category-wise minimum suitability: UR/EWS 50, OBC 45, SC/ST/PwBD 40 out of 100; RT+Interview typically weighted 75:25; PwBD experience may be relaxed up to 50% if adequate candidates not available for reserved suitable posts.
