Salary Details
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend as per the following structure:
Jobs In Tamil Nadu
- Graduate Apprentice (B.E./B.Tech): ₹12,300 per month
- Technician Apprentice (Diploma): ₹10,900 per month
Educational Qualification
- Graduate Apprentice: A degree (B.E./B.Tech) in the respective engineering discipline from a recognized university.
- Technician Apprentice: A diploma in the respective engineering discipline from a recognized institution.
- Eligibility Year: Candidates who have passed their qualifying course in the years 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025 are eligible to apply.
Age Limit
The notification does not specify an age limit. Eligibility is determined by the year of passing the essential qualification.
Selection Process
The selection of apprentices will be based on the following procedure:
- Shortlisting: The Selection Board will shortlist candidates based on the percentage of marks secured in the essential qualification.
- Written Test / Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test and/or interview, which will be held at PXE, Chandipur.
- Offer of Apprenticeship: Selected candidates will be notified and sent an offer letter via email only.
How to Apply
- Candidates must first register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at **https://www.nats.education.gov.in**.
- Download the application form from the DRDO website (**www.drdo.gov.in**).[1]
- Fill out the application form by typing only. Handwritten forms will be rejected.
- Affix a recent passport-size photograph and sign the form.
- Scan the completed application form, along with mark sheets of essential qualifications and reservation certificates (if applicable), into a single PDF document.
- Send the scanned PDF via email to training.pxe@gov.in before the last date.
Instructions
- The last date for the receipt of the application via email is 19th October 2025.
- All correspondence, including offer letters, will be conducted through email only.
- Candidates with post-graduate degrees, or those with training or job experience of one year or more, are not eligible.
- The offer of apprenticeship does not confer any right of employment in DRDO.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview or joining the training.
- No accommodation or transport will be provided by PXE during the training period.
