Salary Details
The selected candidate will be placed in the following pay scale, along with other allowances as per rules:
- Scale of Pay: ₹80,000 – ₹2,20,000
- Allowances: Includes VDA, accommodation/HRA, Cafeteria Allowance (35% of Basic Pay), Encashment of Earned Leave, etc.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.
- Twelve years of experience in an executive cadre in Planning, Construction, Design, and Maintenance, preferably of Port and Marine Structures in an Industrial/Commercial/Government Undertaking.
Age Limit
The upper age limit for applicants is as follows:
- Upper Age Limit: 42 years
- SC, ST, or OBC candidates applying for this Unreserved (UR) post will not be eligible for age relaxation benefits.
- For employees of Major Port Authorities of India, the upper age limit shall not exceed fifty-five years.
Selection Process
The selection process will be at the discretion of the Cochin Port Authority. The Authority reserves the right to shortlist candidates for a written test and/or personal interview based on qualification and experience by adopting appropriate selection criteria.
