Salary Details
- Stipend will be paid as per Government of India norms applicable to apprentices under The Apprentices Act, 1961.
Educational Qualification
- Graduate (Engineering): Degree in Engineering/Technology from statutory University/empowered institution.
- Graduate (General): Degree (B.Com/BBA/B.Sc/BCA/B.Lib.Sc/B.Lib.I.Sc) from statutory University/empowered institution.
- Diploma (Engineering): Diploma in relevant branch from State Board of Technical Education/recognized by State/Central Government.
- ITI: NCVT-certified ITI in relevant trade.
Age Limit
- Minimum age: 18 years as on 04 November 2025; maximum age as per Government of India provisions.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on academic merit/written test/interview or a combination, subject to document verification.
- Reservations as per The Apprentices Act, 1961; valid category certificates must be produced.
- No employment is assured post completion of apprenticeship.
How to Apply
- Enrollment: ITI candidates must enroll on NAPS; Graduate/Diploma candidates must enroll on NATS.
- Attend walk-in with: duly filled registration form, NATS/NAPS profile printout, 10th marksheet & certificate, all semester/year marksheets of qualifying exam, Degree/Diploma/ITI certificate, Aadhaar, caste certificate (if applicable), two passport-size photos.
- Report at LRDE on the interview date by 0900 hrs; selection intimation will be sent via email to selected candidates.
Instructions
- Only Indian nationals; only regular pass-outs of 2023 or later are eligible; earlier pass-outs are not eligible.
- Candidates with higher qualifications are not eligible; those with 1+ year job/training experience after essential qualification are not eligible; those who have undergone/are undergoing apprenticeship elsewhere are not eligible.
- CGPA must be converted to percentage as per institute norms with conversion proof for verification.
- Character & antecedent verification and medical fitness certificate from Government Hospital are mandatory before joining.
- Must join on prescribed date; non-reporting may forfeit candidature; training duration is one year from execution of apprenticeship contract.
- No accommodation/transport/TA provided during selection or training; LRDE may modify vacancies or withdraw the advertisement/selection process; canvassing will lead to disqualification.
