Salary Details
- Consolidated monthly remuneration: Professor Rs. 2,41,740; Associate Professor Rs. 1,60,752; Assistant Professor Rs. 1,38,108; plus TA and DA on TA as applicable; no DA/NPA/HRA otherwise payable; no private practice allowed.
- SRESTA Scheme (Retired Army Doctors – Teaching Broad Specialty): Asst. Professor Rs. 1.2–1.42 lakh; Associate Professor Rs. 1.42–1.88 lakh; Professor Rs. 1.88–2.20 lakh depending on qualifying post-PG teaching experience.
Educational Qualification
- Essential qualifications, teaching experience, and other eligibility strictly as per NMC norms for the respective cadre and specialty.
- Non-medical teachers up to 15% may be appointed in Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry if medical teachers are unavailable, as per NMC norms.
Age Limit
- Less than 69 years including all applicable relaxations as per norms at the time of interview/engagement.
Selection Process
- Scrutiny of applications submitted during walk-in; only eligible candidates allowed for interview; screening test may be conducted if applications are large.
- Personal interview by duly constituted selection board; 50% of total marks as eligibility threshold; final selection based on interview performance.
- Provisional offer subject to medical examination and document verification; waiting list valid for 2 months; results to be published on the official website under Recruitments.
How to Apply
- Register in-person on 29.10.2025 between 09:00 AM and 10:30 AM; no candidates entertained after 10:30 AM; interview on 30.10.2025 at 10:30 AM onwards at Office of the Dean, ESIC Medical College, Kalaburagi.
- Fill the prescribed application form enclosed with the notification before registration; submit with a Demand Draft of Rs. 300 in favour of ESI Corporation payable at Kalaburagi (SC/ST/Female: Nil).
- Produce original documents with one set of self-attested photocopies: SSC/10th certificate (age), MBBS, PG degree, KMC/NMC registration, caste/EWS/PwBD certificate (if applicable), experience and relieving certificates, Aadhaar, PAN, 2 passport photos, publications/academic credentials as per NMC.
Instructions

- Contract terms: one year, extendable up to three years on satisfactory performance and approval; one-month notice by either side; absence beyond 15 days without approval leads to termination.
- Caution Deposit equal to one month’s consolidated remuneration (as per cadre) via Demand Draft at joining; refundable on completion with No Dues; appropriated to ESI Fund if contract terminated within 6 months.
