Salary Details
The salary structure is based on the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) pay levels corresponding to different Grade Pays.
- Level-4/5: Grade Pay ₹2400/2800
- Level-2/3: Grade Pay ₹1900/2000
- Level-1: Grade Pay ₹1800
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess the following minimum educational qualifications :
- For posts with GP-2400/2800: A university degree or its equivalent.
- For posts with GP-1900/2000: Pass in 10+2 or its equivalent, or Matriculation plus ITI/Act Apprenticeship.
- For posts with GP-1800: 10th pass (Matriculation) or ITI or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC).
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 18 and 25 years of age as of January 1, 2026. Applicants must have been born between January 2, 2001, and January 1, 2008. No age relaxation is permissible.
Selection Process
The recruitment process involves assessment based on trials and achievements.
- Trial: All eligible candidates will be called for a trial to assess their game skill, physical fitness, and performance, which will be observed by coaches.
- Assessment: Candidates who are deemed “FIT” in the trial (scoring 25 or more marks out of 40) will proceed to the next stage.
- Final Merit List: The final selection will be based on a total of 100 marks, distributed as follows:
- Assessment of sports achievements: 50 marks
- Game skill, fitness, and trial observation: 40 marks
- Educational qualifications: 10 marks
