The Government of India’s Ministry of Railways, through the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs), has announced a recruitment drive for 5810 vacancies for various Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Graduate posts. Salary Details
The initial pay for the notified posts is as follows:
- Pay Level 6: ₹35,400
- Pay Level 5: ₹29,200
- Pay Level 4: ₹25,500
Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a degree from a recognized university or its equivalent as of the application closing date (20.11.2025). Candidates awaiting final results are not eligible to apply.
- For Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist & Senior Clerk cum Typist: Typing proficiency in English or Hindi on a computer is essential.
Age Limit
The age limit for all posts is 18 to 33 years as of January 1, 2026. The date of birth of candidates should be between January 2, 1993, and January 1, 2008.
- Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen) as per government rules.
Selection Process
The recruitment process will involve the following stages:
- 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT): A common screening test for all posts.
- 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT): A separate test for candidates shortlisted from the 1st Stage CBT.
- Skill Test:
- Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) for the posts of Station Master and Traffic Assistant.
- Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) for the posts of Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist and Senior Clerk cum Typist. This is a qualifying test where candidates must type 30 WPM in English or 25 WPM in Hindi.

How to Apply
Candidates must submit their applications online through the official websites of the RRBs.
- Visit an official RRB website and navigate to the “Create an Account” section if you are a new user.
- Log in with your credentials and select the CEN No. 06/2025 notification.
- Fill in the application form with accurate personal, educational, and contact details.
- Choose your desired RRB and set preferences for Railway Zones and posts.
- Capture a live photograph using a webcam or mobile camera as instructed.
- Upload a scanned copy of your signature and other required documents (e.g., caste certificate for travel pass).
- Pay the application fee online. The fee is ₹500 for general candidates (with ₹400 refundable on appearing for the 1st Stage CBT) and ₹250 for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PwBD/Female/Transgender/Minorities/EBC candidates (fully refundable).
- Review and submit the application form.

- Only one application per candidate is permitted. Multiple applications will lead to rejection.

- The application details, once submitted, can only be modified during the specified window by paying a modification fee of ₹250. Details filled in the “Create an Account” form and the chosen RRB cannot be changed.
