Salary Details
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹15,000. This amount includes a government subsidy of ₹4,500, which will be directly credited to the apprentice’s bank account. Apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances or benefits.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a Graduate degree from a university or institute recognized by the Government of India. The graduation must have been completed on or after April 1, 2021.
Age Limit
As of October 1, 2025, candidates must be between 20 and 28 years old. This means the applicant must have been born between October 2, 1997, and October 1, 2005 (both dates inclusive).
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-creamy layer): 3 years
- PwBD (UR/EWS): 10 years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
- Widows, divorced women, and legally separated women who have not remarried: Up to 35 years for UR/EWS, 38 for OBC, and 40 for SC/ST.
Selection Process
The selection process for the UCO Bank Apprentice engagement consists of the following stages:
- Online Objective Test: An online examination will be conducted with a total of 100 questions covering General/Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, and Quantitative Aptitude. The duration of the test is 60 minutes.
- Local Language Test: Candidates must be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in a local language of the state they are applying for. This test is conducted during document verification. Candidates with 10th or 12th standard certificates showing they have studied the local language are exempt.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
- Medical Examination: Final engagement is subject to being declared medically fit.
How to Apply
Candidates must apply online through the official portals.
- First, register on the NATS portal at https://nats.education.gov.in.
- After registering on NATS, log in and apply for the “UCO Bank” apprenticeship opportunity.
- Successfully applied candidates will receive an email from BFSI SSC (info@bfsissc.com) to provide further details and pay the application fee.
- Pay the non-refundable application fee online. The fees are ₹800 + GST for General/OBC/EWS candidates and ₹400 + GST for PwBD candidates. SC/ST candidates are exempt from the fee.
- Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and other required documents as specified.
- Submit the application and save your Enrolment ID for future reference.
Instructions
- Candidates can apply for an apprenticeship in one state only.
- Ensure that you have a valid personal email ID and mobile number active throughout the process.
- All information submitted must be accurate; any false information can lead to disqualification.
- Candidates must not have undergone apprenticeship training before with any organization.
- The apprenticeship is for a one-year duration and does not guarantee regular employment in the bank.
