Salary Details
- Pay Scale: Basic Pay Rs. 48480 – 2000/7 – 62480 – 2340/2 – 67160 – 2680/7 – 85920 (JMGS I).
- Allowances: Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), and other perquisites as per Bank rules.
- Probation Period: 2 years of active service from the date of joining.
- Service Indemnity Bond: Selected candidates must execute a bond for Rs. 2,00,000/- to serve the Bank for a minimum period of 3 years.
- Advance Increments: One advance increment for each prior completed year of service as an Officer in Scheduled Commercial Banks (maximum 2 increments) if the job profile matches Scale-I Generalist Officer of IOB. (1 increment for subsidiaries of Scheduled Commercial Banks).
Educational Qualification
- Degree Requirement: Graduation Degree in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
- Mark Sheet / Degree Certificate: Candidates must possess a valid Mark-sheet or Degree Certificate as on the date of registration.
- Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking the mandatory local language of the applied state. Candidates who have not studied the local language in 10th or 12th standard must pass the Language Proficiency Test (LPT) before the interview.
Age Limit
- Cut-off Date: 01.08.2026
- Age Range: Minimum 20 years to Maximum 30 years (Born between 02.08.1996 and 01.08.2006, both days inclusive).
- Upper Age Relaxations:
- Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST): 5 Years
- Other Backward Classes (OBC – Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 Years
- Persons affected by 1984 Riots: 5 Years

Selection Process
- Online Examination: 140 objective questions for 200 marks (Duration: 3 hours).
- Reasoning and Computer Aptitude (30 Qs, 60 Marks, 60 Mins)
- General/Economy/Banking Awareness (40 Qs, 40 Marks, 30 Mins)
- Data Analysis and Interpretation (30 Qs, 60 Marks, 60 Mins)
- English Knowledge (40 Qs, 40 Marks, 30 Mins)
- Penalty: 1/4th (0.25) mark deducted for each wrong answer.
- Aggregate Qualifying Marks: 30% for reserved candidates, 35% for unreserved candidates.
- Language Proficiency Test (LPT): Mandatory qualifying test for candidates who did not study the specified local language in 10th or 12th standard.
- Personal Interview: 100 Marks. Minimum qualifying marks are 45% for reserved candidates and 50% for unreserved candidates.
- Final Weightage: Combined score calculated in the ratio of 80:20 (Online Examination : Personal Interview). Final merit list drawn State-wise and Category-wise.

- Click on “Click here to Register Online” and enter basic details to generate a unique Registration Number and Password.
- Upload scanned copies of photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration according to the prescribed specifications.
- Fill in all personal, educational, and professional details carefully.
- Pay the non-refundable Application Fee / Intimation Charges via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
- Submit the application form and keep a system-generated printout for future reference.

- General / EWS / OBC candidates: Rs. 850/- (Application fee including GST)
- Single State Rule: Candidates are allowed to apply for ONE state only. Applying for multiple states is not permitted.
- Posting Period: Selected candidates will serve in the applied state for the first 12 years of service or until promotion to SMGS-IV Grade.
- Pre-Examination Training: Online Pre-Examination Training will be arranged for eligible SC / ST / OBC / Minority candidates who opt for it in the online application.
