Salary Details
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated remuneration of ₹40,000/- per month.
Educational Qualification
- Essential:
- Post-Graduation in Sanskrit.
- Strong communication skills with good command over Sanskrit, English, and Hindi.
- Knowledge of research and documentation.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Desirable:
- Ph.D. with knowledge and experience in research writing based on Indian knowledge traditions.
- Basic knowledge of Sanskrit texts, especially the Puranas, Agamas, etc.
- Candidates with a background in Ancient Indian History or Indian Literature will be given preference.
Age Limit
The candidate’s age should not exceed 45 years.
Selection Process
Selection will be made through a walk-in interview. Candidates must report on time for the verification of original certificates. Only eligible candidates will be allowed to appear for the interview.

Candidates are required to bring the following:
- A filled-in application form (as provided in the notification).
- An updated resume.
- Self-attested copies of all testimonials (academic marksheets, experience certificates).
- Original and a copy of a valid Identity Proof (Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Driving Licence).
- Their work portfolio.
Instructions
- The initial engagement is for one year, extendable based on performance and requirement.
- Selected candidates must submit two reference letters from a previous employer or institution at the time of joining.
- The decision of IGNCA regarding the selection will be final.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
