Salary Details
- Monthly consolidated pay varies by post and year of contract (details above).
- Statutory deductions (PF, ESI, IT, etc.) as applicable.
- Employee benefits: Medical, canteen, welfare facilities, Group Personal Accident Insurance, etc. as per GSL rules.
- No pay protection/service transfer from previous employment.
Educational Qualification
- Junior Supervisor (Safety–Electrical): 3-year full-time Diploma in Electrical Engineering + 1-year Diploma in Industrial Safety (recognised Board/CLI/RLI). 2 yrs supervisory experience.
- Junior Supervisor (Paint): 3-year full-time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. 2 yrs supervisory experience in paint/QA/testing in industry.
- Assistant Superintendent (Finance): Graduate + passed Intermediate CA/ICAI/ICMA OR full-time MBA (Finance)/PGDM (Finance). 2 yrs finance experience.
- Assistant Superintendent (Hindi Translator): Bachelor’s in Hindi with English as subject + 1-yr Diploma in translation; 2 yrs translation experience.
- Technical Assistant (Mech/Elect/Shipbuilding): 3-year full-time Diploma in respective discipline. 5 yrs relevant experience.
- Nurse (Male): B.Sc. Nursing OR 2-year full-time Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery. 2 yrs hospital/PSU experience.
- Office Assistant (Clerical): Bachelor’s degree + 1-year Computer Applications certificate (not needed for BCA/IT grads), 3 yrs clerical experience.
- Office Assistant (Finance/IA): Degree in Commerce + Computer Applications certificate, 1 yr relevant experience.
- Shipwright Fitter: SSC + deck/engine training certificate, 2 yrs experience.
- Structural Fitter: ITI & NCTVT in relevant trade, 2 yrs experience.
- Welder/Machinist: ITI in trade, 2 yrs experience.
- Safety Steward: SSC + 1-yr diploma in safety/fire mgmt, 2 yrs experience.

Age Limit (as on 30.06.2025)

- Written Test: 25% General Aptitude, 75% Subject/Trade (CBT/PBT mode).
