Salary Details (Stipend)
- Freshers – School pass-outs (class 10th): ₹8,200/- per month.
- Freshers – School pass-outs (class 12th): ₹9,600/- per month.
- Ex-ITI – National or State certificate holder: ₹9,600/- per month. (Note: During the second year of apprenticeship training, there shall be an increase of 10 percent in the prescribed minimum stipend amount.)
Educational Qualification
- Ex-ITI (Fitter, Electrician, Machinist, Carpenter, Painter, Welder): Passed Std X (with minimum 50% marks) and possess National/State Trade Certificate in the notified trade. (Math & Science required for Fitter, Electrician & Machinist).
- Ex-ITI (PASAA): Passed Std X (with minimum 50% marks) and possess Trade certificate in IT / COPA / Database system / Software Testing.
- Freshers (Fitter, Electrician, Machinist): Passed Std X (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) with Science & Maths under 10+2 system.
- Freshers (Carpenter, Painter, Welder): Passed Std X (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) under 10+2 system.
- Freshers (MLT- Radiology & Pathology): Passed Std XII examination under 10+2 system with Physics, Chemistry & Biology. (Note: Candidates with higher qualifications like Degree/Diploma/Engineering are NOT eligible to apply).
Age Limit
- Age Reckoning Date: As on 07/09/2026.
- ITI Candidates: 15 to 24 years.
- Non-ITI (Fresher) Candidates: 15 to 22 years.
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST by 5 years, OBC by 3 years, and PwBD by 10 years.
Selection Process
- Merit-Based: The merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in Std X. For COVID Pass candidates, proof of IX std mark sheet / X std Half-yearly mark sheet signed by the Principal will be considered.
- Tie-Breaking: If marks are equal, the older candidate will be preferred. If Dates of Birth are also the same, the candidate who passed Std X earlier will be preferred.
- Medical Fitness: Selected candidates must produce a Medical Certificate signed by a Government authorized doctor.
How to Apply
- Visit the official ICF web portal at https://pb.icf.gov.in.
- Read the detailed notification thoroughly.
- Fill the ONLINE application form completely and correctly.
- Keep a scanned image of a recent passport-size photograph (under 200 KB in jpg/jpeg format) ready for upload.
- Pay the processing fee of ₹100/- through online mode (if applicable).
- Note down the system-generated Registration Number (User ID) and use your Date of Birth (ddmmyyyy) as the password for future logins.
- Submit the application and take a printout of the system-generated acknowledgment form.
Instructions
- Application Fee: A non-refundable processing fee of ₹100/- applies. SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates are exempted from the fee.
- No Hard Copies: Candidates are NOT required to send any documents or the application printout to ICF via Post/e-mail/in-person.
- Employment Exchange: Preference is given to Tamil Nadu residents registered with a local Employment Exchange.
- No Employment Guarantee: The notification is purely for Apprenticeship training; NO employment is guaranteed post-training.
