Pay Scale: Special Time Scale Pay (சிறப்பு காலமுறை ஊதியம்) Rs.11,100 – 35,100/- per month (Level-06)
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess the following educational qualifications as on 01.07.2025:
- Must have appeared for the 10th Standard (SSLC – Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination) with Tamil as one of the subjects in a school recognized by the Tamil Nadu Government (Pass/Fail)
- SSLC Mark Certificate is mandatory (Pass/Fail)
- Must be able to read and write Tamil without errors

Selection Process
Selection will be conducted based on the following criteria with separate marks allocated:
- Educational Qualification: Marks for appropriate educational qualification
- Bicycle/Two-Wheeler Driving Skill: Candidates possessing two-wheeler driving license will be exempted from separate driving test; others will undergo driving skill test
- Reading and Writing Ability Test: Scheduled for 21.11.2025 (for most taluks) and 08.10.2025 (for Keelakarai)
- Native Residence: Marks for being a native resident of the respective taluk
- Interview: Scheduled for 05.12.2025 (for most taluks)
Merit list will be prepared based on overall marks obtained in all components.

- Must obtain a Physical Fitness Certificate as per Fundamental Rule 10 at the time of appointment

- The appointing officer must be satisfied regarding the conduct and criminal background of the selected candidate
