Educational Qualification
- Office Assistants (Multipurpose): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent. Candidates must have proficiency in the local language as prescribed by the participating RRB.
- Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Preference will be given to candidates with degrees in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics, or Accountancy. Local language proficiency is mandatory.
- Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer): Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Requires a minimum of two years of experience as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
- Officer Scale-II (Specialist Officers): Degree in the relevant field (IT, CA, Law, Treasury, Marketing, or Agriculture) with a minimum of 50% marks and 1 to 2 years of professional experience in the respective field.
- Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
Age Limit
- Office Assistants (Multipurpose): Between 18 and 28 years (born between 02.09.1998 and 01.09.2008).
- Officer Scale-I: Above 18 years and below 30 years (born between 02.09.1996 and 01.09.2008).
- Officer Scale-II: Above 21 years and below 32 years (born between 02.09.1994 and 01.09.2005).
- Officer Scale-III: Above 21 years and below 40 years (born between 02.09.1986 and 01.09.2005).
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates receive a 5-year relaxation, OBC (Non-creamy layer) receive 3 years, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) receive 10 years. Ex-servicemen relaxations apply as per government guidelines.
Selection Process
- Office Assistants (Multipurpose): Two-tier process consisting of an Online Preliminary Examination followed by an Online Main Examination. Provisional allotment is based on Main Examination marks.
- Officer Scale-I: Online Preliminary Examination, Online Main Examination, followed by a Common Interview.
- Officer Scale-II & III: Single Level Online Examination followed by a Common Interview.
- Final Allotment: Based on merit-cum-preference, taking into account scores and actual vacancies.
How to Apply
- Visit the official IBPS website: www.ibps.in.
- Click on the “CRP for RRBs” link on the Home Page, then select the appropriate application link for Officers or Office Assistants.
- Click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” and enter your basic information to generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password.
- Upload your scanned photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration following the specified guidelines.
- Fill out the application form carefully, using the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify details before final submission.
- Complete the online payment for application fees/intimation charges using Debit/Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards, or Mobile Wallets.
- Print the system-generated e-receipt and online application form for future reference.
Instructions
- An application fee of Rs. 175/- is applicable for SC/ST/PwBD candidates, and Rs. 850/- for all other categories.
- Candidates can apply for the post of Office Assistant and also apply for one post in the Officer cadre (Scale-I, II, or III). However, separate applications and fees must be submitted for each post.
- The handwritten declaration must be written in English only, in the candidate’s handwriting, and must NOT be in capital letters.
- Candidates must retain copies of the same photograph uploaded during registration for use at various stages of the selection process.

- Online Examination (Main / Single): December 2026/February 2027.
