Salary Details

Educational Qualification
- Qualifications vary extensively based on the applied post. Selection Process
- Written Examination: Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of Paper I (Tamil Eligibility Test, General Studies, Aptitude and Mental Ability) and Paper II (Subject Paper).
- Certificate Verification: Onscreen and subsequent Physical Certificate Verification.
- Interview: An oral test assessing personality, aptitude, and technical knowledge.
- Counselling: Final selection based on combined marks of the Written Exam and Interview.
How to Apply
- Visit the TNPSC examination portal at www.tnpscexams.in.
- Register through the One Time Registration (OTR) platform and pay the Rs. 150/- registration fee (valid for 5 years). Aadhaar linking is mandatory.
- Log in using your OTR User ID and Password, and click “APPLY” against the Combined Technical Services Examination.
- Fill in the online application, upload a recent photograph (with name and date printed at the bottom) and signature in the prescribed formats.
- Select the subject paper(s) and two preferred examination centers.
- Pay the examination fee of Rs. 200/- (per subject paper) online.
- Click ‘SUBMIT’ and save the generated Application Number for future reference.
Instructions
- Applications submitted offline or through demand drafts will be summarily rejected.
- Ensure all uploaded documents (educational, community, experience, PSTM) are clear and legible to avoid application rejection.
- Mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, and calculation instruments are strictly banned inside the examination hall.
