Salary Details
- Professor: Fixed Basic Pay of Rs. 1,18,500/- plus allowances.
- Associate Professor: Fixed Basic Pay of Rs. 78,800/- plus allowances.
- Assistant Professor: Fixed Basic Pay of Rs. 67,700/- plus allowances.
(Note: Retired/Working Professors applying for the Associate Professor post will receive a salary as per the Professor’s scale.)
Educational Qualification
- Qualifications must be as per the latest NMC (MCI) guidelines.
Age Limit
- The maximum age for applicants is 69 years as of 12.09.2025. The tenure of engagement will be until 70 years of age, whichever is earlier.
Selection Process
- The selection will be based on the candidate’s academic credentials and their performance in a walk-in interview before the Selection Board. The date for the walk-in interview will be notified later via the official website or email.

- Application Fee: A non-refundable fee of Rs. 500/- is applicable for candidates in the ‘All Other categories’. SC/ST, Female, ESIC (Regular Employees), Defence Ex-Servicemen, and PH candidates are exempted from the fee. The fee must be paid via a Demand Draft drawn in favor of “ESIC HOSPITAL BIHTA SB ACC- 2”, payable at Bihta, Patna.
- The deadline for both email and postal submissions is 12.09.2025 by 03:00 PM.
Instructions
- A separate application must be submitted for each post.
- Candidates must have an updated registration with the NMC/State Medical Council.
- Candidates currently employed in Government/Autonomous institutions should preferably provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview.
- Private practice in any capacity is not permitted after joining.
- The engagement is purely contractual for one year and does not confer any right to claim for regular appointment or service benefits like PF, pension, etc.
