Salary Details

Educational Qualification
- Degree in Engineering in any discipline from a recognized University OR Master’s Degree in Science/Commerce from a recognized University.
Eligibility and Experience
- Officers under Central/State/UT Govts/Autonomous Organizations/PSUs:
- Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department, OR with 6 years’ regular service in Level-5 (Rs. 29200–92300).
- Departmental route: Technical Assistant of ANI KVIB in Level-5 with 6 years’ service may be considered along with outsiders; if selected, deemed as promotion.
- Note: Departmental candidates in the direct line of promotion are not eligible for deputation; deputationists are not eligible for promotion.
- Deputation period ordinarily not to exceed 3 years; maximum age for deputation: 56 years on closing date.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Overall in-charge of Technical and Marketing Section.
- Extend technical guidance to prospective entrepreneurs on project selection and self-employment ventures with back-up services.
- Collect data on KVIB-assisted units for production, sales, and employment; submit consolidated annual progress reports to KVIC/others.
- Organize/participate in State Level Exhibitions, Block Melas, Khadi sales-cum-exhibitions, and flea markets.
- Prepare success stories of KVIB-assisted units.
- Assist in physical verification and concurrent evaluation of PMEGP units.
- Conduct State Level TFC/Monitoring Committee meetings and Bankers Workshops under PMEGP.
- Implement HRD programmes and conduct island-wise industrial potential surveys with linkages.
- Perform any other duties delegated by the Executive Officer/Secretary.

- Selection on deputation basis following receipt and scrutiny of applications routed through proper channel.
- Deputation initially for 1 year, extendable up to 3 years based on performance.
