The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for the recruitment of Constable (Executive) for both male and female candidates in the Delhi Police. A total of 7,565 tentative vacancies have been announced. Interested candidates from all parts of the country are eligible to apply for this open competitive examination.

Salary Details
Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Level-3 with a pay scale of ₹21,700 – ₹69,100 (Group ‘C’).

Educational Qualification
As of October 21, 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Must have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) from a recognized Board. The educational qualification is relaxable up to 11th pass for sons/daughters of serving, retired, or deceased Delhi Police Personnel/Multi-Tasking Staff of Delhi Police, and for Bandsmen, buglers, mounted constables, etc. of Delhi Police only.
- Driving License: Male candidates must possess a valid driving license for LMV (Motorcycle or Car) as on the date of the Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PEMT). A Learner License is not acceptable.
Age Limit
- Candidates must be between 18 to 25 years of age as of July 1, 2025. Candidates should not have been born earlier than July 2, 2000, and not later than July 1, 2007.
- Permissible upper age limit relaxations are available for various categories, including SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), and sportspersons, as per government rules.
Selection Process
The recruitment process will consist of the following stages:
- Computer-Based Examination (CBE): An objective-type paper with 100 questions for 100 marks. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PEMT): This stage is qualifying in nature and will be conducted by the Delhi Police. It includes race, long jump, and high jump events, as well as physical measurements (height and chest).
- Document Verification (DV): Conducted by the Delhi Police for candidates who qualify the PEMT.
- Medical Examination: For the final shortlisted candidates.
How to Apply
- Candidates must first complete a One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new SSC website: **https://ssc.gov.in**.
- After OTR, log in and proceed to fill out the online application form for the “Constable (Executive) Male and Female in Delhi Police Examination, 2025”.
- The application requires capturing a live photograph; pre-existing photos are not to be used.
- The application fee is ₹100. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) are exempted from fee payment.
- The fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, or RuPay Debit cards.
- Submit the application form much before the closing date to avoid last-minute technical issues.
Instructions
- The application form must be submitted in online mode only.
- Candidates should ensure that the live photograph captured during the application process is clear, with a plain background, and without any cap, mask, or glasses.
- Candidates are advised to provide a correct and active e-mail address and mobile number for communication purposes.
- The final result will be declared by the SSC based on performance in the CBE, subject to qualifying the PEMT and other conditions.
