Educational Qualification
- Any Degree (10+2+3 pattern) and Cooperative Training.
- Exemption from Cooperative Training for: M.A. (Cooperation), M.Com (Cooperation), P.G. in Cooperation (any UGC recognized University), B.A. (Cooperation), B.Com (Cooperation).
- Candidates with B.A.(Coop)/B.Com.(Coop) who seek exemption must have passed Book Keeping, Banking, Cooperation, and Auditing; else Cooperative Training is required.
- Candidates currently undergoing full-time Cooperative Training in 2025–26 (TN Cooperative Union institutions) and those who completed 24 weeks off-campus training in 2024–25 may apply. They must upload a Bonafide Certificate from the training institute and produce final training certificate before appointment order.
- Degree must include Tamil as a subject at SSLC/HSC/Degree level (PSTM as applicable).
- Basic knowledge in Computer Applications is required.
- For Ex-Servicemen: Military Graduation (in lieu of a college degree) permitted if they have passed SSLC and HSC in Tamil Nadu.
Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025)
- Minimum: 18 years (born on or before 01.07.2007)
- Maximum (upper age limit on 01.07.2025):
- SC, SC(A), ST, MBC/DNC, BC, BCM, Ex-Servicemen of these communities, and Persons with Disabilities of these communities: No upper age limit.
- OC (Other Communities): 32 years.
- OC Ex-Servicemen: 50 years.
- OC Persons with Disabilities: 42 years.
- Destitute Widows of OC: No upper age limit (as per norms; upload valid DW certificate from competent authority). Divorcees/deserted are not treated as Destitute Widows.
Reservation & Rotation
- Community-wise reservation, special category reservations (Women, Destitute Widows, Ex-Servicemen, Persons Studied in Tamil Medium where applicable, Persons with Disabilities) will apply as per existing Government Orders.
- Final allotment adheres to reservation and rotation, and candidates must serve under the bylaws of the allotted cooperative institution.
Selection Process
- Written Examination (Objective type, Degree level) for 170 marks; 200 questions; duration 180 minutes; bilingual (Tamil/English).
- Syllabus includes: Cooperative Management, Cooperative Finance & Banking, Cooperative Book Keeping, Computer Applications, General Knowledge, Tamil.
- Answer Keys will be published after exam; objections accepted within 3 days via email/written representation.
- Interview: Candidates up to 2 times the vacancies will be called based on written marks, reservation, and rotation.
- Weightage: Written 85% + Interview 15%.
- Final Allotment: Based on total marks (written+interview), reservation/rotation, and candidate’s institution preference (option collected at interview); allotment through computerized process.
- Certificate Verification: Community, DW, PwD, Ex-Servicemen, PSTM, Coop Training/Exemption, and all eligibility proofs required. Appointment orders will be issued by the allotted institution after verification.
