Salary Details
The remuneration for the position varies based on qualifications:
- GATE/NET qualified candidates: ₹25,000/- per month
- Non-GATE/Non-NET candidates: ₹14,000/- per month
The duration of the fellowship is for one year, which can be extended up to three years or until the completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
Educational Qualification
- Essential: M.Sc. in Physics with a minimum of 55% marks. For SC/ST candidates, the minimum required marks are 50%.
- Desirable: Candidates with an interest in ion-accelerator based research and electronics will be preferred. Applicants should be willing to travel to IUAC, New Delhi, and other accelerator labs in India. Preference will be given to candidates who have qualified for GATE/NET.
