Salary Details
- Technician (Semi Skilled): Pay Matrix Level-1 (Rs. 18,000 – 56,900) as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.
- Technician (Skilled): Pay Matrix Level-2 (Rs. 19,900 – 63,200) as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.
- Selected candidates will be entitled to Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, Children Education Allowance, Leave Travel Concession, Medical facilities, and CSD facilities as per Government of India rules.
- Employees will be covered under the National Pension Scheme (NPS) or Unified Pension Scheme (UPS).
Educational Qualification
- Technician (Skilled):
- Matriculation (10th class pass) from a recognized Board or equivalent.
- ITI Pass Certificate in the specified trade OR an equivalent Defence Services Tradesman Course approved by the Central or State Governments.
- One year of experience in the specified trade from a recognized organization or undertaking.
- Technician (Semi Skilled):
- ITI pass in any Trade OR its equivalent Defence Services Tradesman course approved by the Central or State Government.
Age Limit
- The minimum age limit is 18 years, and the maximum is 27 years as of the application closing date.
- Age Relaxations:
- SC/ST category: 05 years (only against reserved vacancies).
- OBC category: 03 years (only against reserved vacancies).
- Ex-Servicemen: 03 to 08 years after deduction of military service from actual age, depending on category.
- Departmental Candidates (with min. 3 years service): Up to 40 years for UR, 43 years for OBC, and 45 years for SC/ST.
Selection Process
- Written Examination: Eligible candidates will undergo an objective-type, multiple-choice written test (100 Marks, 90 Minutes duration). There is no negative marking for wrong answers.
- Trade Test: Candidates shortlisted from the written test will take a Trade Test (100 Marks). A minimum of 40 marks is required to qualify.
- Merit List: Final selection is determined by a merit list prepared based on Trade and Establishment performance. No interviews will be conducted.
- Medical Examination: Provisionally shortlisted candidates must undergo a medical examination at a government hospital to ensure fitness.
How to Apply
- Type or fill out the application strictly in the prescribed format (Appendix ‘A’) on an A4 size paper.
- Prepare the applicable Admit Card format (Appendix ‘B’ for Semi Skilled or Appendix ‘C’ for Skilled) in duplicate.
- Affix three recent passport-size photographs—one on the main application form and two self-signed photos on the admit cards.
- Enclose a self-addressed envelope (30 cms x 12 cms) affixed with a Rs. 55/- postal stamp for the return of the Admit Card.
- Attach self-attested copies of all requisite certificates (Educational, Experience, Date of Birth, Caste, etc.).
- Clearly superscribe the top of the main envelope with: “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF [Technician (Semi Skilled) / Technician (Skilled)] and CATEGORY [SC/ST/OBC/UR]”.
- Dispatch the completed application solely via Registered Post or Speed Post to: Controllerate of Quality Assurance (Systems), DGQA Technical Complex, Manovikas Nagar P.O., Secunderabad – 500009.
Instructions
- Proof of Date of Birth must be established via a 10th/Matriculation Certificate or a valid Birth Certificate issued by a Competent Authority.
- Candidates diagnosed with night blindness or colour blindness are medically unfit for this appointment and will not be considered.
- Candidates currently employed in Government Service or Public Sector Undertakings must forward their applications through the proper channel along with a “No Objection Certificate” (NOC).
- Entries on the application should not be overwritten or struck out; typing the application is heavily advised.
- No Traveling Allowance or Dearness Allowance (TA/DA) is provided for attending the written test or trade test.
