Salary Details
- Basic Pay: ₹50,925/- (In the scale ₹50,925–2,500(14)–85,925–2,710(4)–96,765)
- Gross Emoluments: Approx. ₹90,000/- per month at metropolitan centers
- Other Benefits: NPS (PFRDA), Gratuity, LTS, medical benefits, group accident insurance, and leased accommodation (as per rules)
- Bond: 4 years (including probation); resignation before bond period incurs penalty

Selection Process
- Phase-I: Preliminary (Online Objective Test)
- English Language, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude (60 min total)
- Phase-II: Main (Online Objective + Descriptive)
- Generalists: Reasoning, English, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude (40–50 Q each)
- Specialists: Same as above plus 40 Qs Professional Knowledge in relevant stream
- Descriptive Test (Letter & Essay in English)
- Interview: Only shortlisted candidates
- Final selection: Main exam (objective test) & Interview – 75:25 weightage
- Penalty for wrong answers: ¼ mark
