Salary Details
- Graduate Apprentice (Engineering) and Graduate Apprentice (General Stream): ₹9,000 per month
- Technician Apprentice (Diploma in Engineering) and Diploma in Commercial Practice: ₹8,000 per month
Educational Qualification
- Graduate Apprentice (Engineering): B.E./B.Tech in respective discipline with minimum 60% marks or 6.32 CGPA
- Graduate Apprentice (General Stream): B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. with minimum 60% marks or 6.32 CGPA
- Technician Apprentice (Diploma): Diploma in Engineering (any discipline) with minimum 60% marks or 6.32 CGPA
- Diploma in Commercial Practice Apprentice: Pass in Diploma in Commercial Practice from a recognized Board
- Courses must be recognized by Indian Universities/State Boards.
- Only regular candidates (not sandwich/private/short-term courses) are eligible.
Age Limit
- As per Apprentices Act and NRSC norms (not explicitly specified in notice); eligibility conditioned by qualification year limits:
- Only candidates who passed Degree/Diploma during or after July 2023 are eligible.
- Candidates who completed prescribed qualification more than 3 years before application are not eligible.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on academic scores at Degree/Diploma level (merit panel).
- Engagement strictly in order of merit against available training positions.
- Only selected candidates will receive offer letters via email.
- No TA for document verification.
How to Apply
- Enroll on NATS portal and obtain Apprenticeship Registration No. (www.mhrdnats.gov.in).
- Register/Login to UMANG portal and submit application online within dates.
- Upload the following in jpg/jpeg/png:
- All semester/year Degree/Diploma mark sheets in one file (max 1 MB)
- Degree/Diploma Certificate/Provisional/Passing Certificate (max 1 MB)
- Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC (latest, max 50 KB), if applicable
- PwBD Disability Certificate, if applicable
- Photo (max 50 KB) and Signature (max 50 KB)
- CGPA conversion certificate, if applicable
- Use a valid active email ID; submit only one application per email ID.
- Preserve Online Registration Number and take printout of the application for submission at joining (if selected). No need to send by post.
Instructions
- Only Indian nationals are eligible.
- Training duration: 12 months from execution of Apprenticeship contract.
- Selected candidates must execute Apprenticeship contract per Apprentices Act, 1961 & 1973 amendments.
- Must produce original documents at joining: DOB proof, all educational certificates from SSLC/SSC onwards, experience (if any), caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC), Non-Creamy Layer (OBC), etc.
- Candidates already undergone/undergoing Apprenticeship, or with 1 year or more experience, are ineligible.
- Candidates pursuing higher studies (e.g., BE/B.Tech for Diploma holders; ME/M.Tech for Graduates) are not acceptable.
- Empanelment based on data in online application; any mismatch at any stage leads to disqualification.
- No interim correspondence; canvassing disqualifies.
- Gender balance: Women candidates are encouraged to apply.
