Salary Details

Pay Scale:
Rs. 24,050-1,340/3-28,070-1,650/3-33,020-2,000/4-41,020-2,340/7-57,400-4,400/1-61,800-2,680/1-64,480 (Revised Clerk Pay Scale).

Starting Basic Pay:
Rs. 26,730/- (Rs. 24,050/- + two advance increments admissible to graduates).

Starting Emoluments:
Approx. Rs. 46,000/- per month (inclusive of D.A., HRA, other allowances at metro cities).
Allowances vary by posting location.

Educational Qualification

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification recognized by Central Government, as on or before 31 December 2025.
• Final year/semester students may apply provisionally, but must produce proof of graduation on/before 31 December 2025.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 20 years (as on 01 April 2025)
• Maximum Age: 28 years (not born earlier than 02 April 1997 and not later than 01 April 2005; both days inclusive)

Upper age relaxation:

• OBC: +3 years
• SC/ST: +5 years
• PwBD (Gen/EWS): +10 years; PwBD (OBC): +13 years; PwBD (SC/ST): +15 years
• Ex-Servicemen: Actual service + 3 years (max age 50 years); Disabled Ex-Servicemen: Actual service + 8 years (SC/ST, max 50 years)
• Widows/divorced/separated women (not remarried): +7 years (max age: Gen/EWS 35, OBC 38, SC/ST 40)
• SBI Apprentices: Gen/EWS: +1 year; OBC: +4 years; SC/ST: +6 years; PwBD further relaxations as per notification.

Selection Process

1. Preliminary Examination (Online):
   • Objective Test (100 questions; 1 hour):
     • English Language (30 marks/30 questions, 20 min)
     • Numerical Ability (35 marks/35 questions, 20 min)
     • Reasoning Ability (35 marks/35 questions, 20 min)
   • Sectional timings; Negative marking 1/4th mark for wrong answers.
2. Main Examination (Online):
   • Objective Test (190 questions; 2 hrs 40 mins):
     • General/Financial Awareness (50)
     • General English (40)
     • Quantitative Aptitude (50)
     • Reasoning & Computer Aptitude (50)
   • Sectional timings; Negative marking 1/4th mark for wrong answers.
   • Minimum qualifying marks on aggregate (with 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/XS/DXS candidates).
3. Test of Specified Opted Local Language:
   • Conducted after main exam, before joining (except those who passed 10th/12th class in the language).
   • Qualifying in language test is mandatory for final selection.
4. Merit List & State/UT Posting:
   • Merit/wait list maintained state/category-wise. No inter-state/circle transfers.

3. Register & fill up online application from 06 August to 26 August 2025.
4. Upload scanned photo, signature, left thumb impression, handwritten declaration as per guidelines.
5. Pay application fee online:
   • General/OBC/EWS: Rs. 750/-
   • SC/ST/PwBD/XS/DXS: No fee
6. Print application form and e-receipt for records.

Note: Only one application per candidate. Multiple applications will lead to cancellation/forfeiture of fees.
